2026 Shanghai International Light Festival × ALIGHT

ALIGHT  proudly presents the immersive night tour project for the Huangpu Main Venue of the 2026 Shanghai International Light Festival. Extending across three iconic urban landmarks — Shanghai Museum, the Great World and Yanzhong Greenbelt — the project creates a brand-new three-segment light and landscape corridor. It breaks the boundaries of traditional night tours and builds immersive public art scenes within the city.

Integrating digital art creation, original IP storytelling and cutting-edge light and shadow technology, the project adopts diverse artistic forms including immersive light installations, intelligent digital light matrices, motion-sensing interactive games and dramatic architectural projection mapping. It transforms urban green spaces, overpasses and historic buildings into a night art stage for viewing and interaction.

From vivid rainforest light scenes and engaging motion-sensing interactions to flowing dynamic projections on building facades, ALIGHT Guangyu Light delivers a city-wide light and shadow feast full of narrative and atmospheric charm, reinventing Shanghai’s nighttime cultural tourism experience.
